Merci

Opting for a tailor-made trip allows you to live a unique experience, far from traditional circuits.

Our Travel Planners, experts in this region of Northern Europe, know Glasgow in its most hidden corners. They guide you to confidential addresses, current cultural events, and authentic experiences that only locals know. Your Glasgow stay then takes on a particular dimension, tailored to your passions and pace.

Customizing your trip gives you total freedom in your choices. Want to delve deeper into the architectural legacy of Charles Rennie Mackintosh? Your Travel Planner organizes private tours of his iconic works. Prefer to explore the city's legendary music scene? He opens the doors of mythical clubs and recording studios. This tailor-made approach turns your discovery into a personal and memorable adventure.

Local expertise makes all the difference in the quality of your experience. Our Glasgow partners reveal the secrets of their city: the best time to visit the Kelvingrove Art Gallery without the crowd, authentic pubs in Merchant City frequented by local artists, or lesser-known viewpoints over the Clyde. This intimate knowledge of the territory greatly enriches your stay.

What to discover during your tailor-made stay in Glasgow?

Glasgow reveals its multiple facets through its iconic neighborhoods and historical monuments. Your personalized trip leads you to the discovery of this city of a thousand faces, between Scottish tradition and creative modernity.

Must-see downtown

Glasgow Cathedral, a Gothic jewel of the 12th century, is the ideal starting point for your exploration. This exceptional monument, spared by the Reformation, houses the tomb of Saint Mungo, legendary founder of the city. Your Travel Planner can organize a private guided tour to discover the architectural details and legends surrounding this sacred place.

The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, one of the most visited museums in the United Kingdom, deserves special attention during your Glasgow trip. Its 22 thematic galleries host eclectic collections, from medieval armors to works by Dali and Monet. The Kelvingrove organ, with its 3,000 pipes, offers daily concerts that delight visitors.

George Square, the beating heart of the city, perfectly illustrates Glasgow Victorian architecture. Surrounded by majestic buildings like the city hall, this lively square regularly hosts cultural events and markets. Your tailor-made stay can coincide with these events for total immersion in local life.

Iconic neighborhoods to explore

The West End charms with its bohemian atmosphere and green spaces. The University of Glasgow, founded in 1451, dominates this neighborhood with its impressive neo-Gothic architecture. Ashton Lane, a cobblestone alley lined with pubs and restaurants, offers a unique ambiance for your evenings. The Glasgow Botanic Gardens, with its Victorian greenhouses, is a perfect green oasis for a contemplative break.

Merchant City, the cultural hub par excellence, concentrates art galleries, theaters, and designer shops. This former trading area from the 18th century has transformed into a dynamic artistic center. Your personalized trip can include meetings with local artists in their studios or visits to contemporary galleries.

Finnieston, dubbed the trendiest neighborhood in Glasgow, attracts foodies and night owls. Its innovative restaurants and creative cocktail bars reflect the city's creative spirit. Your Travel Planner reserves tables in the most sought-after establishments to discover Scottish cuisine revisited.

Planning your Glasgow stay requires careful consideration of the optimal duration and possible extensions. Our Travel Planners assist you in these strategic choices to maximize your Scottish experience.

This duration gives you time to explore iconic neighborhoods, visit must-see museums, and soak up the local atmosphere. For a luxury trip, we can extend your stay up to a week, including exclusive experiences like private whisky tastings or private concerts.

The ideal period for your Glasgow trip spans from May to September, when temperatures fluctuate between 15 and 20°C.
