Pauline

Located at the crossroads of three continents, the island of Cyprus offers exceptional diversity deserving a tailor-made approach. This Mediterranean destination of 9,251 km² seamlessly combines fine sandy beaches, wooded mountains, and traditional villages, creating a perfect playground for travelers seeking authenticity.
The Cypriot climate is a major advantage for your trips to Cyprus. With over 340 sunny days per year and mild temperatures even in winter, the island is a year-round destination. This climatic consistency allows our Travel Planners to design your trip according to your seasonal preferences, whether you wish to enjoy the beaches in summer or explore the Troodos massif trails in spring.
The Cypriot cultural heritage is fascinating in its richness. As the birthplace of Greek mythology with Aphrodite, the island preserves traces of successive civilizations: Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Frankish, Venetian, Ottoman, and British. This unique historical layering provides a rare cultural depth, ideally suited for a personalized discovery tour.
The manageable size of Cyprus is a significant advantage for organizing tailor-made trips. In one day, you can go from the golden beaches on the coast to the mountainous villages, discover ancient archaeological sites, and relax in a traditional tavern. This geographical proximity allows for maximum flexibility in designing your itinerary.
The island of Aphrodite reveals its treasures to curious travelers, offering a range of experiences suitable for all profiles.
Paphos, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a must-visit in any trip to Cyprus. The archaeological park exhibits exceptional Roman mosaics, notably those in the House of Dionysus dating from the 2nd century AD. The Tombs of the Kings, hewn from rock in the 4th century BC, testify to the grandeur of the Hellenistic period.
Nicosia, the last divided capital in Europe, provides a unique experience. The old town, surrounded by Venetian walls from the 16th century, hosts Ottoman mosques, Byzantine churches, and fascinating museums. The Cyprus Museum displays an archaeological collection spanning 9,000 years from the earliest Neolithic civilizations to the Byzantine and medieval periods.
The painted churches in the Troodos massif, classified by UNESCO, are an exceptional artistic treasure. These ten Byzantine buildings, constructed between the 11th and 16th centuries, house remarkable frescoes illustrating Orthodox religious art. The church of Panagia tou Araka in Lagoudera or that of Saint Nicholas tis Stegis in Kakopetria are worth a thorough visit.
The Troodos massif, peaking at 1,952 meters on Mount Olympus, offers a striking contrast to the coastline. This mountain range harbors the largest forest of cedars in Cyprus, a vestige of the vegetation that once covered the entire Mediterranean basin. Hiking trails like the Caledonia Trail or the Artemis Trail allow the discovery of preserved biodiversity.
The traditional villages of the Troodos retain their age-old authenticity. Omodos, with its cobbled alleys and the monastery of the Holy Cross, Lefkara, famous for its artisanal lace, or Kalopanayiotis, a historic spa town, offer authentic immersions into Cypriot culture. These stops allow an understanding of the island's winemaking and artisanal traditions.
The Akamas peninsula, a protected natural reserve, preserves unique Mediterranean ecosystems. Avakas Gorge, the Baths of Aphrodite, and Lara Beach, a nesting site for green turtles, are natural gems accessible to travelers conscious of ecotourism.
The Chypriot coast stretches over 648 kilometers, offering a remarkable diversity of beaches adapted to all tastes. The region of Paphos, with its wild coves like Coral Bay or family-friendly beaches, is an excellent starting point to explore the west coast.
Ayia Napa, on the southeast coast, captivates with its fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. Nissi Beach, with its islet connected to the land by a sandbar, or Fig Tree Bay in Protaras, regularly rated among Europe's most beautiful beaches, provide idyllic settings for relaxation.
The coast of Limassol combines urban equipped beaches and more secluded coves. Lady's Mile Beach, stretching over 5 kilometers, provides a perfect setting for families, while Kourion Beach, overshadowed by an ancient archaeological site, offers a unique mix of culture and leisure.
For honeymoons, certain beaches offer exceptionally romantic settings. Petra tou Romiou, the mythical birthplace of Aphrodite, or the secluded coves of the Akamas peninsula create unforgettable memories for couples.
Organizing a customized trip to Cyprus requires in-depth local expertise that our Travel Planners master perfectly. These destination specialists live on-site or are intimately familiar with the island, its secrets, and seasonal specifics.
Your Travel Planner begins by analyzing your expectations: do you prefer a stay in Cyprus focused on cultural discovery, beach relaxation, sporting activities, or a harmonious mix of these experiences? This first step determines the general direction of your tailor-made trip.
Accommodation is a crucial element of your Cypriot experience. Our experts select establishments according to your criteria: charming hotels in traditional villages, seaside resorts, authentic agrotourisms, or contemporary boutique hotels. Each option corresponds to a different travel style and influences the general atmosphere of your stay.
Air logistics adapt to your geographical and budgetary constraints. Arriving in Paphos is ideal for exploring the west of the island and its mythological sites, while arriving in Larnaca facilitates access to Nicosia and the beaches of the southeast coast. Our Travel Planners optimize these choices according to your personalized itinerary.
Ground transportation deserves special attention. Renting a car provides maximum freedom to explore the island at your own pace, particularly suitable for couples and small groups. For families or travelers preferring tranquility, a private driver-guide offers comfort and local expertise. Private transfers between different stages of your discovery tour ensure smoothness and punctuality.
Our specialists incorporate exclusive experiences into your program: wine tastings in family-owned cellars in Troodos, traditional cooking classes with locals, private tours of archaeological sites with specialized guides, or boat excursions to coves unreachable by road.
Customization extends to practical details: reservations at authentic restaurants, organization of specific activities (diving, hiking, golf), and adaptation of the travel pace according to your preferences. This tailored approach transforms your trip to Cyprus into a unique experience perfectly adapted to your expectations.
The following table presents the main travel periods and their characteristics:
| Period | Temperature | Advantages | Disadvantages |
|---|---|---|---|
| March-May | 18-25°C | Mild climate, blooming, moderate prices | Sea still cool |
| June-August | 25-35°C | Warm sea, lively nightlife | High influx, intense heat |
| September-November | 20-28°C | Sea still warm, fewer people | Risk of storms in November |
| December-February | 12-18°C | Advantageous rates, authenticity | Some establishments closed |
This seasonal flexibility allows adapting your tailor-made trip according to your personal constraints and climate preferences, ensuring an optimal experience no matter the chosen period.

July and August, although hot and dry, also attract many sun-seeking tourists. Winter months, from November to March, though wetter, are ideal for hiking in the Troodos Mountains, offering a different experience of Cyprus altogether. In essence, each season brings its own charm to the island, ensuring an unforgettable adventure year-round.

One week is the minimum duration to discover the essentials of Cyprus: historical sites of Paphos, villages of the Troodos and beaches of the south coast. Ten days allow for a more in-depth exploration including Nicosia, the Akamas peninsula, and authentic cultural experiences. For a honeymoon or a complete discovery, two weeks offer the ideal pace combining relaxation and discoveries.
The budget varies according to the level of customization and the chosen period. Count on between 1,800 and 2,500 euros per person for a week in a 4-star hotel with a rental car. Luxury trips with exceptional accommodations and private experiences reach 3,500 to 5,000 euros per person. Our Travel Planners tailor each quote according to your priorities and budget constraints.
