Who are our users?

The incredible variety of user profiles confirms every day how the application meets the needs of the majority.
Travel planners have diverse profiles, ranging from independent tourism professionals to "digital nomads" or bloggers.
The travel planner, the trip planner, or the tour designer, the wedding planner, the custom travel organizer—all claim an activity, as well as a personal and unique vision of travel planning. Broadly speaking, our users have a clear idea of what today's tourism should be like. We allow them to express their talent in this regard; meaning being free to develop their activity as they see fit, independently, much to the delight of their traveling clients.
The travel planners who offer their trips on the Vialala platform, who are they?
The profiles that sign up each day on Vialala are very diverse, and all bring a personal creativity that is the essence of the community. However, they can still be grouped into a few main categories:
- Independent travel professionals: we welcome two very different types. Some are already in the tourism industry, even fully immersed, and generally manage a type of service. For example, they are tour guides, AirBnB hosts, guesthouse managers, excursion operators, transporters, and the Vialala platform allows them to book all the services that they usually recommend for free. With Vialala, for the first time, they are therefore paid for all the services of the stay! The others are simply receptive or independent travel agents, and they are used to offering all types of services, but within the framework of a "receptive" package precisely. Vialala requires them to adapt to the new demands of travelers. And notably, that they provide the detailed pricing to our common clients, and not an "all-inclusive" price for 8, 12, or 14 days!
- The "digital nomads": they are bloggers, influencers, web writers, or even graphic designers, and they have settled in a destination of their choice to work from their computer. Or even they sail from destination to destination with their mobile office. When they are bloggers or influencers, the main population of this category, most have specialized in travel in general, or they have a blog that focuses on a destination, country, or continent, or a specialty, a sport for example. They are professional travelers and they will bring travelers an original and modern approach to travel preparation.
- Expats and international students: expats or spouses of expats, but also international students or working holiday participants, they launch an additional activity to their main activity because they have a passion for travel and deep knowledge of a destination or a specialty (diving, hiking, climbing, etc.).
Vialala's clients are travelers who desire to have a unique and personal experience during their trip
Vialala's customers are the travelers of the 21st century. They are not looking for 100% relaxing vacations on the other side of the world, a polluting approach attached to the previous century. Instead, they want to go off the beaten path, interact with local populations, and even have immersive experiences. More generally, they are more aware of the impact of mass tourism on destination countries or highly sought-after cities for city trips, and without sacrificing their taste for travel and sometimes the sun, they are looking for trips that are more respectful of the environment and local reality.
Clients can be divided into 3 main categories:
- Young people, friends, or couples: these new travelers typically represent the population that will favor Vialala. They seek original experiences, and often it is the content of the trip, not the destination, that will guide their choice.
- Families with children: Vialala saves them a tremendous amount of time, and allows them to organize much more enriching vacations for the whole family than if they were to organize it themselves, generally opting for a very limited "seaside" package (focused on "relaxation").
- Couples or groups of friends aged 45 and above: they seek assistance in organizing because they do not want to improvise on the spot. And they are looking for original, active, and immersive experiences, precisely to break away from the mass tourism they were accustomed to previously. For them, the proposition of the independent travel planner makes perfect sense, with the added benefit of competitive prices which they are not used to if they regularly request quotes from traditional custom travel agencies.
