A trip in Bergen
Visit the gateway to the Norwegian fjords. Located on the southwest coast of Norway, Bergen is a charming small town. With its colorful wooden houses, it is typical of Norwegian coastal towns. Both nestled at the foot of the mountains and open to the sea, it is the starting point for many cruises to the fjords. This idea of a stay is valid for 2 people for a period of 6 days.

Useful info (food)
For your meals, catering prices are quite expensive compared to other countries. For an average budget, treat yourself to one or two outings to a restaurant. You will find many mini markets where you can buy your provisions (the concept of supermarket hardly exists in Norway). Norwegians often eat toast (matpakke), so you will find a lot of sliced bread and all kinds of foods to spread on it. Among the curiosities to taste: brunost (brown cheese with a mild and sweet flavor), kaviar (fish roe paste in a tube), fiskekaker (kinds of savory pancakes with fish) and kanelboller (rolled cakes cinnamon, even better reheated and with Chantilly cream).

Booking a hotel in Bergen (night 1 of 6)
Hotel of your choice according to your wishes. In Bergen, the accommodation options are varied but limited: youth hostel, budget hotel, luxury hotel ... For 5 nights, plan between 100 and 700 €. Youth hostels are ideal for keeping costs as low as possible and if you are willing to share a bedroom and bathroom. Comfort is however there if one is not too demanding. For more prestigious accommodation, prices go up quite quickly but the quality of service will not disappoint.
